STEAM TURBINE SST 200

SST-200 Steam Turbine (up to 10 MW)
The SST-200 is a single-casing steam turbine in a packaged base frame-mounted design. Developed to achieve high efficiency for generator drives combined with high reliability for mechanical drives, the SST-200 is characterized by easy handling.
Both back pressure and condensing turbines, with and without extraction or bleed points, are characterized by a robust layout, essential for driving compressors, pumps and fans in the chemical and petrochemical industry. Some specific applications:

Generator and mechanical drive

>Ethylene plants
>Ammonia or fertilizer plants
>Methanol plants

Design Concept
SST-200

>Single casing turbine
>Base frame mounted packaged unit design
>Proven, modular and thermoflexible design
>Customized steam path

The turbine casing and casing components of the SST-200 are designed to permit short start-up times. For generator drive, there is a possibility of conventional arrangement with integrated generator, since this provides high efficiency together with a very compact arrangement.
Back pressure or condensing applications with internally controlled extraction and possibility of several bleeds allow the selection of optimal solutions for the majority of industrial applications. Internally controlled extraction gives high efficiency over a wide range of flow. A multi-stage control valve system incorporating very few and well protected parts ascertains reliable steam flow control and good steam consumption. Both back pressure and condensing turbines are available with upward or downward exhaust.

Scopes of supply
SST-200

Each of the industrial steam turbines is available as a freestanding machine or as a package which includes generator (or another driven machine), gearbox, and all other auxiliary systems, normally mounted on a base frame. We can deliver each of our machines with the configuration that fits best to your needs.

STEAM TURBINE SST 150

SST-150 Steam Turbine (up to 20 MW)
The SST-150 is a single-casing steam turbine, proving geared drive to a 1,000 or 1,800 rpm generator respectively geared or drive for industrial applications.
The turbine is packaged in a skid-mounted design. For power generation, it provides high efficiency together with a compact arrangement.
It represents a solution based on long experience of industrial and covers the following applications:

Generator drive

>Industrial power plants and paper mills, sugar industry, textile industry, steel works and mines
>Cogeneration and district heating, combined cycle plants
>Waste to energy, e.g. waste incinerators; utilization of waste heat from chemical processes
>Petrochemical, refineries and FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) applications

Key data:

>Power output uo to 20 MW
>Inlet pressure up to 103 bar / 1,495 psi
>Inlet steam temperature up to 505°C / 940°F
>Rotational speed up to 13,300 rpm

Design Concept
SST-150

>Single-casing turbine
>Back-pressure / condensing type
>Modular package unit design; pre-engineered turbine modules, modular peripherals
>Single controlled extraction
>Radial ehaust; exhaust flange with top or bottom exhaust
>Steam-driven emergency stop valve
>Separated oil and steam piping

The SST-150 single-casing, modular package design allows a wide variety of configurations to satisfy industrial needs in the most economical way. SST-150 turbine variations are achived by selecting from a number of pre-defined stages for incorporation into the standard design.
The utilitzation of selected proven components asures high reliability and easy maintenace. For generator drive, gearbox combined with generator is preferred, since this provides high efficieny together with a very compact arrangement.
